What is your role as the Lead Pastor at Sardis Fellowship?
I oversee the vision and overall direction of what we collectively sense God calling our Church to be and do in our city and world. I oversee our amazing Staff and work with our Leadership Team as well as emerging leaders. I also have the privilege of preaching God’s Word on a regular basis. What an awesome job!
How long have you been working in this role?
Since 2019.
Prior to that, I served as the Pastor of Community Life & Care for 15 years here at Sardis Fellowship.
What do you love about what you do?
People. I love working with people! From our Staff to the Congregation at large, to meeting those in our community, I love working with people. My greatest joy is seeing people come alive in Jesus and helping them take their next best step in following him.
If you could recommend a favourite place in Chilliwack what would it be and why?
The Blue Heron Reserve. There is so much wildlife to see. We also love riding bikes on the 20km Vedder Rotary Loop Trail.
I also recommend the Little Beatle Bistro as a great place to eat breakfast or lunch.
