The BC Health Authority Provides the Following Guidelines and Precautions for Religious, Spiritual, Faith-Based and Worship Practices:

(from the BCCDC website, more information can be found here):

Given the Above Guidelines and Precautions here is the Leadership Team Update on How We Will Meet for Indoor Gatherings:

Our objective is to provide a safe place to gather, worship and work by addressing the Provincial Health, and Fraser Health Authority guidelines and recommendations in the following ways:

  • Before attending please assess yourself for symptoms of COVID-19. If showing symptoms, please do not attend. We’ve posted a list of COVID symptoms on the doors to the church facility and they are outlined below.

  • Practice hand hygiene through sanitizing or washing. There are hand sanitizing stations throughout the church facility.

  • If you have questions about the COVID-19 vaccination we encourage you to speak with your family Doctor.

  • It is now a BCCDC requirement that we wear a mask indoors in the building at all times for all ages 5+ (As of Dec.1, 2021). Given the health sensitivities of some attending our congregation in-person and the increased level of transmission occurring in vaccinated and unvaccinated people, we are choosing to more strongly address what has been recommended out of an abundance of caution and in keeping with restrictions in place for other non-religious gatherings.

  • Along with masks we ask that physical distancing be followed when and where you can.

  • Finally we are actively cleaning the church on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. We are also asking each group that meets in the building mid-week to sanitize high touch areas when leaving the area they used.

As a Leadership Team, we will be consistently reviewing the recommendations and making appropriate changes. If you have questions, please contact the Leadership Team by clicking the button below.

We trust that you would partner with us in the spirit of grace and safety to achieve these goals. On behalf of the Leadership Team, thank you for reading this.
