Our youth program's annual Film Fest is a great time for students to share their humour and talents by making videos. All video submissions are welcome, there are some rules on submissions listed below. There is also a category for submitting funny youtube videos, but the rules for that are separate. There will also be prizes for a number of categories to be voted on by students, with the majority of prizes being for homemade videos. Anyone with a cell phone can make and edit a video using free apps, so we highly encourage students to edit their videos.
A couple rules on submitting homemade videos:
- Homemade Film Fest videos must be a maximum of 3 minutes long (even if a video is made as a group).
- Students may submit homemade videos on their own or as a group, but if a student makes a group video and an individual video, they must be unrelated videos (not a pt. 1 & pt. 2; 3 minutes is still the max time)
- All Videos must be submitted to Youth Director Richard Franckiewicz or to your small group leader by no later than Tuesday, November 14th (to allow for screening). The #1 best way to submit your video is via uploading it to google drive and then sharing a link to the file via email, text, or discord.
- All Videos must be appropriate (if you wouldn't show it to your parents, we won't show it to your friends).
