While Surge is intended for grades 9-12 students, we have been given permission by Stillwood to register students from grades 6-12 for the Surge retreat, as our church will not be attending the Shine retreat this year. Surge is a classic youth retreat with games, teaching, worship, food, camp activities and space for lots of relational connections. At Surge you'll make fun memories, grow close with your friends, and be challenged and inspired to grow in your spiritual journey.
Details:
Dates: February 23rd-25th, 2024. The retreat starts with sign-in at Stilllwood’s Gazebo, which will be open from 6:30-7:30pm on Friday, February 23rd. Pickup will be at 1:00pm on Sunday, February 25th.
Cost: $150 + tax per student. We are offering a $50 subsidy for every one of our students that register for Surge, bringing the cost to parents down to $100. You can use our discount code when you register to apply the subsidy. Please contact Youth Director Richard Franckiewicz for the subsidy code. Assistance is available through our church for anyone who wants to go to Surge but needs additional financial help to go. Contact Youth Director Richard Franckiewicz if you would like more information about financial assistance.
Registration: The link can be found at stillwood.ca/surge. All parents must register their students through the link provided on that page, and make their payment directly to Stillwood at registration. Registration closes on Monday, Feb. 5th.
Packing List: A full packing list will be sent out by Stillwood the week prior to the retreat to the email provided in the registration form. Plan to bring clothes that you can get really dirty.
