Other Areas:
Prayer Support
Join our Prayer Team as we ask the Lord to use this great event in the life of our Church and community.
Sponsor a Child
Help cover the cost of a child whose family may not be able to afford it ($35). A donation can be made here on our website.
Team Leaders and Team Helpers will need to attend a short (less than 1 hour) mandatory training session before the camp begins. This training will take place at the Church on June 29, 2023 at 7pm.
Criminal Record Checks
All VBS Volunteers 18 years old and up, and working directly with children or vulnerable youth, are required to complete a Criminal Record Check before the camp begins. (Specifically, that refers to Team Leaders, Team Helpers, Bathroom Monitors, and First Aid Attendants.) Criminal Record Checks must be completed by June 27, 2023. Don’t worry, it’s easy! Follow these steps:
Step 1
Collect a Criminal Record Check form from the Church.
Forms are available in a blue folder in the Photocopy Room.
Step 2
Once you collect the form, fill it out, then take it to our local Chilliwack RCMP Community Policing Office.
(There is no cost to have the form completed by the RCMP, as you are a volunteer.
Please ensure to bring 1 government issued photo ID and one other government issued ID with you to the detachment.)
Step 3
The RCMP will call you when your check is complete and you will need to go and pick up.
Step 4
Please give your completed Criminal Record Check to our Church Office by June 27, 2023.
Questions?
If you have questions/concerns about completing your Criminal Record Check or would like to check the status of the Criminal Record Check we have for you on file, please contact our Church Office.
