The Marriage Course

Seven Weeks

Who should take this course?  Every couple!

First time couples: Regardless of age, length of time married, or just because you have a "great" marriage-there is always room to improve.  Work situations require constant educational upgrading and so do marriages.  Come and find out just how interesting your spouse is.

Couples who have taken this course before: Why?  Because the space you are in now, is different from the space you were in, just six months ago.  Jobs or incomes may have changed, lifestyles may be different, children may or may not be on the scene.  Couples need to constantly check in with each other, re-evaluate, and keep in touch.  Those who have taken the course before, always say the second time around is even better.

What will be covered?

Topics covered will include: Foundations, Communication Skills, Resolving Conflict, Forgiveness, Family, Sex and Differences in Men & Women.

What does the evening look like?

Participants watch a segment of DVD, then go to a private room to discuss questions.  There no discussion or sharing, except by the course facilitators.

My spouse and I would love to take part, but how?

The course will begin on Tuesday, September 15th and will run for seven weeks (with one week break on September 22nd) from 7-9:30pm at the Church. 
The cost is $25 a couple.  You can register in advance at the Church Office.
