Youth's Small Group Nights are some of the best opportunities to get to know others in your small group better. Each small group plans out their own activity, with the emphasis being on doing something together. It's up to your group what you want to do, and you could pick anything you'd like (within reason).
You could paint or make art together, play your favourite board games, come up with challenges and compete with each other, get together at your leader's house, go to the pool, sit around a campfire, or whatever else you can come up with!
It's a great chance for students who feel like they have a hard time making connections with their peers to make a new friend and get to know each other.
Here’s what our small groups are doing:
Gr. 6-8 Boys:
- Date/Time: Wednesday March 1st, 7:00-9:00pm
- Location: at the church (Fireside Room)
- Activity: Games competition with candy and prizes
- Cost: Free
Gr. 9-12 Boys:
- Date/Time: Wednesday March 1st, 7:00-9:00pm
- Location: at the church (Youth Room)
- Activity: Games and Snacks
- Cost: $2 each
Gr. 6-8 Girls:
- Date/Time: Wednesday March 1st, 7:00-9:00pm
- Location: 41918 South Sumas Rd (Leader Cailyne's house)
- Activity: Making cinnamon buns and playing games
- Cost: Free
Gr. 9-12 Girls:
- Date/Time: Friday March 5th, 6:00-9:30pm
- Location: Planet Lazer (Langley - carpool)
- Drop-Off: 6:00pm at the church
- Pick-Up: 9:30pm at the church
- Activity: Lazer Tag
- Cost: $26 + tax ($29.12) per person
- Consent Form: Parents of those attending the Lazer Tag activity will need to fill out a consent form, which has been sent out in an email. There will also be paper copies on site at drop-off.
