The word discipline may cause many of us to recoil. It sounds too much like the cough syrup which boasts, “It tastes awful. And it works.” In this evening seminar we will explore the spiritual disciplines and see that although requiring attentiveness and commitment, they enable us to experience joy and growth in our walk with God. I think you will agree, they are much better than that famous cough syrup. So come on out and enjoy some coffee, tea, home-made desserts, learning and table discussion together.

Come out to hear Jennifer Gamache share about Safe Families, a ministry in the Lower Mainland that we would love to partner with as we believe it is right in line with the mission and vision of Sardis Fellowship. This ministry seeks to surround families in crisis with caring, compassionate community. She is going to share in the Sunday morning service and will have information available in the foyer afterwards.
The following Thursday (June 20th) at 6:30pm, she will be hosting an info night at the church in the Fireside room if you would like more information and would like to get involved in Safe Families.

Join us for 10 weeks of exploration of the Christian faith. Each night begins with a meal together where you get to know the people in your group. After dessert, there is a 30-45min video session covering one of the key ideas of what Christianity is all about, followed by a discussion time where you can share your opinion or ask your questions about the topic. Each evening begins at 6pm and we end at 8:15pm. There is no cost to you for taking the Alpha Course as our church family has sponsored the cost of the evening, we just want you to come and be our guest!

Tristan and Lycrecia Klassen and their 3 teenage kids live in Croton BC and work at Camp Qwanoes. Tristan and Lycrecia have an incredible story of how God’ restored their marriage. Come out to the 10am service to hear their story and then stay for a light lunch after the service for a question and answer time in the fireside room.

Check our website for a list of what to bring that is most needed. Let's be generous and visible in community!
Come on out for a church wide potluck near Christmas time! Bring whatever food you would like to share with others, whether a salad, a side dish, some chips, or a main course, it's up to you! Let's enjoy a meal together as a church family and enjoy fellowship and some fun together as well. Open for all ages. Saturday, September 10th at 11:30am, join us after the service for fellowship! Church wide chicken bbq & corn roast to kick-off our fall together! Rob and Karin Lee will be with us Sunday August 6th to share about their time as missionaries in Italy. After 6-7 years of church planting in Italy, the Lee’s will be moving back to Canada and will be living in Duncan on Vancouver Island. The missions committee is hosting a BBQ at Rod Heppell’s place (42730 Janzen Road, Greendale) at 12 noon following the service where you can meet with the Lee’s. Please bring a salad or dessert to share, and a chair!

Family Unite Games Night!!
Our Youth Director Richard Franckiewicz has been so kind and is allowing us access to the youth room where we will be ale to play shuffle board, air hockey, froze ball and SO much more. We will also have set up in the Hall way upstairs table with games and actives and available in the class rooms will be bouncy castle!!
There will be snacks and treats for everyone!!
This will be a fun night to remember!!
